This beautifully crafted programme takes listeners on a journey from quiet reflection to joyful celebration. Highlights include the haunting beauty of The Sound of Silence, the breathtaking masterpiece, Sure on This Shining Night by Morten Lauridsen, the gentle serenity of In the Stillness, and the imaginative Australian work, Shall We Dream?

The concert then turns towards Christmas with the elegance of Pavane for a Silent Night, the rich harmonies of Dan Forrest’s beloved arrangement of The First Noel, and the festive sparkle of Nutcracker Jingles – yes, it’s Jingle Bells and it’s The Nutcracker!

Adding another layer of musical colour will be the enchanting Illumina Hand Chime Ensemble, whose warm, shimmering tones perfectly complement the festive spirit.
