Illumina Voices is a women's choir based in Adelaide, South Australia.
We are a vibrant group of women with a strong community spirit. We share a love of choral music, singing and performing together as well as having a good time.
Our aim is to develop and broaden our choral skills in classical, sacred, traditional, contemporary and world music. We present two major performances each year to demonstrate these different styles.
MUSIC DIRECTOR: Glenda Lynelle

10th Anniversary of Illumina Voices
To celebrate our 10th Anniversary this very talented group will be singing an engaging variety of songs that celebrate our desire to dream big for the world and for ourselves. A very important aspect of this dreaming is rejoicing in the freedoms won by courageous people of the past, celebrating the freedom we live in, and giving ourselves permission to dream BIG, not just for ourselves but our children's future.
The program acknowledges our spiritual relationship to all things and celebrates our unique freedom to express this. Genres include World Music, Afro-American Spirituals, Folk, Contemporary Australian and Popular repertoire.

Celebrating our 10th Anniversary With between forty and fifty members, Illumina Voices has built a fine reputation as a dynamic and popular women’s choir with a focus on choral excellence in a challenging and rewarding learning environment. As we continue our celebrations of our 10th Anniversary, Illumina’s next program reflects on the 100th Anniversary of Armistice, the effects of war and our dreams and hopes for peace to prevail across our lands. We acknowledge the hope foretold at Christmas and celebrate its coming.
Our repertoire draws on classical contemporary choral works, folk songs, excerpts from The Vocal Orchestra of Margaret Dryburgh, iconic Australian choral pieces and some dynamic Christmas repertoire. The Choir is thrilled to have our previous 2 Musical Directors – Rosemary Nairn and Deb Munro - join us as Guest Conductors. Guest Artists are Cantorae (Adelaide Vocal Ensemble) and Rosemary Nairn on pipe organ.
The choir is a not-for-profit organisation who proudly support health projects associated with women, children and families.
